To wit: he’s catered the Superbowl in San Diego (the Broncos ate 12 trays of cookies a day), spent time carving prosciutto in Boston’s North End, been a studio assistant to Italo Scanga, taught art in jails, been a street jeweler and carved jade, amber, clay and epoxy, and has lived in Italy, Mexico, South Africa, Chile, Korea and Argentina.
